Oliver Jax Crosby

Oliver Jax Crosby was born on August 7, 2018 at 30 weeks after Allie experienced an unexpected umbilical cord prolapse, which led to an emergency birth. Oliver left this world that same day as an angel. Although he spent the shortest time on this Earth, he came in and left as the most beautiful and perfect creation of God. All he knew was love from his parents Joshua and Allie and big brother Sawyer, and Oliver too gave love to so many in such a short time. Oliver’s legacy continues to live on through saying his name daily, seeing butterflies, having Oliver bear join in family activities, and having weekly family date nights at the cemetery. The family continues to move forward each day with the help and support of the community and beautiful organizations like Peyton’s Smile. The Crosby Family has not gone on their Peyton’s Smile trip yet because rainbow baby, Emersyn Olivia, was born in December. The family will venture on a Disney Cruise to remember Oliver in October.

Josh & Allie took a trip to Hawaii!

Our last full night tonight in Hawaii was surely one to remember.

After Josh’s surf instructor heard why we were in Maui a few days ago, she got us in to a fancy, beautiful restaurant that takes reservations a year in advance. We were given the best seat in the house and had a card waiting at the table from said surf instructor Our waitress said oh you guys have a a card, must be your honeymoon or special celebration. We hesitated and then went on to explain “who” we were celebrating

At the conclusion of our dinner, our waitress brought a bag of flowers she went and hand picked while we were eating and encouraged us to let them go in the ocean after dinner as a tradition that is done for those who we have lost While doing so, Josh told me to watch out for a rock, which was actually a huge turtle on shore. We will never forget you, Maui
